President – Cheryl Long

The President leads LWML CID and supports its mission by coordinating district leadership, conducting meetings, and representing the district.

• Presides at district conventions and Executive Committee and Board of Directors meetings.
• Prepares meeting agendas and ensures adopted resolutions are carried out.
• Appoints committee chairmen and personnel with the required approvals and supports their work.
• Coordinates convention planning, including the program, speaker, reports, and convention manual.
• Shares responsibility for attending zone rallies and communicating national and district LWML news.
• Approves new group memberships and reports membership changes.
• Reviews and approves legitimate expense vouchers for payment by the Treasurer.
• Handles presidential correspondence, prepares reports, and contributes to The Clarion when requested.
• Represents the district at LWML Presidents Assembly meetings, national conventions, and other church events as specified or invited.
• Maintains office records and helps her successor transition into the position.
