Thank You Letters from Scholarship Recipients:

Dear Contributors to the Doris Seider Trust and CID Endowment Fund and CID LWML members,

Thank you for your generous donations to the CID Scholarship Fund. So much change has been happening for me in recently getting married on June 29th, moving to Ft. Wayne, starting a work study on campus, and soon starting classes in September. Yet, one thing has remained the same: God has continued to provide for me and for my new bride. Thank you for making seminary more attainable through your gifts.

In Christ,

Members of the CID LWML, Doris Seider Trust, and CID Endowment Fund,

Thank you for your generous monetary gifts to the CID Scholarship fund. I very much enjoyed my first year at Concordia Chicago and I would like to thank you for helping me fund my higher education at a Lutheran Institution. I am very thankful for all you do to support my learning and others!

To the members of the CID LWML, Doris Seider Trust, CID Endowment Fund;

Thank you for your continued support for me and many other students in the CID area. Entering into my final year at Concordia Wisconsin is such a blessing and the help you have provided along the way is greatly appreciated. I look forward to my final year of school and then entering the mission field as a Lutheran teacher. Again, thank you so much.

In Christ,

Members of the Central Illinois District,

Thank you so much for this scholarship. I am very excited to be preparing to be a Lutheran School Teacher. Thank you so much for supporting me.

CID Scholarship Fund,

I would like to thank all the people involved in making this scholarship a possibility. It is such a huge blessing to me! Thank you for helping me in my goal to be a Lutheran teacher!

I wish to extend my deepest gratitude for this special and very generous support of my seminary education! From undergraduate studies till now I have come to rely on the charity of God's people, and I am blessed to day you all have always been there for me! Thank you and the Lord bless you all.

In Christ,

CID Scholarship Fund,

I want to deeply thank you for your financial support as I attend Concordia University Chicago. Because of people like you I am able to continue chasing my dream of becoming a DCE. My first year of college only deepened my desire to share Jesus' love through ministry. God continually reveals to me that the educational path I have chosen is pleasing to Him. Again, thank you so much for the support.

God's blessing,

President Miller and all in the Central Illinois District,

Thank you for supporting my family again during our second year here at the seminary. We appreciate your generous financial gift so much. Without this aid the cost of seminary would be too great for us.

Thank you again,

Dear Central Illinois District of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod,

Please accept my profound thanks for supporting me with a grant to continue my education towards becoming a DCE. I really appreciate this gift and am looking forward to the coming year. I am excited to go out into the world soon and be wherever God calls me to begin my ministry. Thanks again for all your financial aid, support, and prayers. I appreciate it very much.

God's peace,

Dear President Miller,

Thank you very much for the CID grant of $1,500 that will help support me as I study to be a Lutheran School Teacher at Concordia University Wisconsin. I appreciate the district's faith in me, and I will do my best to honor that commitment.

Dear President Miller,

I want to say thank you for the financial support that the Central Illinois District is giving me for this upcoming school year. I am very thankful for everything that you have done for me this past year. The last couple of years seminary went very well and I have enjoyed the experience and the formation process that I am getting at the seminary.

This past year I had decided that it would be best for me to go on the five year plan. It was a hard decision but after going through this past academic year I realized that it was a very good choice for me. And it has been nice to have the summer off of school to recharge and get refreshed for the upcoming school year.

Over the summer I have been helping leading worship at my home church and preaching at a couple of different churches around the Central Illinois area. It has been fun and very blessed that the churches allowed me to come and preach to them.

I am excited for this upcoming school year. Just to get back and continue to learn and grow with my friends be one step closer to going on vicarage.

I just want to thank you again for all the support and the prayers that I am receiving.

God's Blessings,

Dear Pastor Miller,

I am delighted that the Central Illinois District has awarded me with a grant for the 2013-2014 school year! Thank you to the District and all of the congregations, donors, and foundations who support the CID Scholarship Fund.

This has been a very busy year for our family, as we have been traveling about visiting old friends. I have had the opportunity to put my first-year training to work, preaching at six different congregations. I've also been doing some gardening for a local woman who lives on an acre lot in the country with a pond. My body is telling me it is time to go back to the books and start year 2!

I am truly enjoying my time at the Seminary and look forward to continuing my studies. I hope you are enjoying your new position, and I'm sure that you are doing a fine job.

Yours in Christ Jesus,
